Whit McIsaac, President & CEO
During the past 25 years, Whit has consistently demonstrated success as a vertical industry and Microsoft Business Solutions entrepreneur. Over this period, he has founded, acquired, developed and grown several high profile software and technology companies.
Whit has worked closely with Microsoft and is recognized as a pioneer in the area of vertical industry solutions and horizontal tools and utilities that are built to extend the functionality of the Dynamics CRM platform. Under his leadership, Whit’s organizations have been the recipient of four Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, and have been inducted into the Microsoft Dynamics Inner Circle and President Club.
In late 2011, after selling Client Profiles, Whit and his management team acquired c360 and immediately began to apply their experience and business skills to lead the company toward an even greater position in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM global marketplace.
Whit is a frequent speaker on the value of building businesses and applications that are focused on a specific vertical industry segment. In addition to his vertical expertise, he has been a long-term proponent of building line-of-business applications on top of the Microsoft technology framework.
Whit’s role at AEC360 is to provide the overall business vision and strategy for the organization, and to lead the company’s growth initiatives and partnerships.
Dave Hutchinson, Executive Vice President, COO
Dave has an exemplary history as a senior business executive with a successful background in operations, sales and marketing. Prior to the launch of AEC360, Dave was part of the management team that acquired c360, the leading provider of add-on products, industry solutions and development tools for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform.
Prior to that, Dave was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Client Profiles legal technologies companies. In his role with Client Profiles, Dave led the sales and marketing efforts and worked closely with the senior management team to further expand Microsoft executive level relationships.
Prior to his role at Client Profiles, Dave was President of Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions. In this role, Dave had direct reports in the areas of sales, human resources, operations, finance, contracts and compliance. Dave’s organization consisted of over 2,200 employees across the United States providing services in the areas of litigation support, eDiscovery and onsite operations for major law firms and corporate law departments.
Gary Mills, CFO
Gary is the CFO of AEC360 brings a unique perspective to the company with more than 25 years in corporate finance, banking and commercial real estate. He has held various financial management positions with media giant Cox Enterprises, including the startup of Cox’s Interactive Media division as VP Finance.
More recently, Gary has been engaged in consulting assignments in the software and bankruptcy industries, and commercial real estate brokerage, where his primary focus has been providing clients with financial and investment guidance.
Gary brings financial guidance and strategies to AEC360 along with keen investment wisdom.
Arol Wolford, Principal
Arol Wolford co-founded SmartBIM and VIMtrek based on his passion for information solutions in the building design and construction industry. Arol has been a well-known entrepreneur in the building products information industry for the past 30 years. He founded Manufacturers’ Survey Group in 1975 and five years later entered the construction information industry with the startup of Construction Market Data (CMD) in Atlanta, Georgia.
As President and CEO of CMD, Arol oversaw the CMD Group of companies which included such well known information sources as Association Construction Publications, Architects’ First Source, Buildcore Product Source, CanaData, Clark Reports, Construction Market Data (CMD), Cordell Building Information Services, Manufacturers’ Survey Associates, and R.S. Means.
CMD Group was also part owner of BIMSA/Mexico and Burwood Reports in Southeast Asia. Arol sold CMD Group to Cahners (now Reed Construction Data) in 2000. Arol served on the Board of Revit before it was sold to Autodesk and has pursued the goal of empowering Architects, Engineers and Contractors with Smart BIM Objects from Building Product Manufacturers during the last decade.
In 1997, Arol was named honorary member of The American Institute of Architects in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the architectural profession. More recently he was selected to serve on the AIA 150 Committee, the only non-architect so honored. Arol holds a degree in biology from Westmont College of California. He is married to Jane, his high school sweetheart, and has two married daughters.
With a deep understanding of the AECOM industry, Arol brings a unique perspective to AEC360 as a founding member. Arol provides strategic direction and management oversight and guidance to the AEC360 organization.
Richard Burroughs, Principal
Richard is the founder and President of Applied Software (ASTI). Applied Software, was founded in 1982 and is one of the largest Autodesk resellers in the Southeastern United States. With a singular focus in helping clients in the AEC industry achieve high performance, Applied provides a comprehensive array of solutions and services for the AEC industry.
With a deep understanding of the AEC industry, Richard brings knowledge, insight and strategic guidance to AEC360.
