Bartlett & West, www.bartwest.com, is an employee-owned multidisciplined engineering firm based in Topeka, KS. With areas of focus in Energy, GIS, Rail, Right-of-Way, Roads & Highways, Storm Water Management, Sustainable Design, Water Supply and Wastewater along with other areas. Bartlett & West is driven by Employee-Owners and a culture of giving back to their communities and giving back. One of the overall objectives of Bartlett & West is to provide fully-integrated offices to deliver client solutions.

The Challenge


Bartlett & West’s objective, as a first time user of CRM, was to implement a solution to better manage client relationships, track pursuits and provide a single source to quickly and easily view client data including financial and project information from Deltek Vision. Additionally, Bartlett & West has a well defined process for tracking new business opportunities and wanted to automate much of this.

The Solution


AEC360, www.aec360.com, implemented a solution built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM . As part of the solution, AEC360 preconfigured Dynamics CRM to be applicable to the engineering space. This immediately provided relevance to the business development team and the SellerDoer's. AEC360 also provided a tight integration with the existing Deltek Vision ERP solution that automated much of their proposal process, provided client financial data and insured a tight synchronization between both systems for client, contact and project information. Bartlett & West has seen widespread user adoption across their multiple offices and users. The team of users has one place to go for client, project and pursuit information. Additionally, they have implemented a mobility solution providing access to the AEC360 solution when out of the office.
